Mesh Type: Aesthetically Diamond Mesh looks like a succession of diamonds and Square Mesh looks like a succession of squares.Industrial Fabric is not considered square or diamond it is a sheet of fabric mostly for industrial use.
Square mesh netting will naturally hang straight and to exact dimensions without a border installed.
Diamond mesh has a lot more "stretch", and must be pulled into place for it to install into exact dimensions when it has no border installed, we recommended for installation and ease of use to have a rope-border installed around the perimeter
Net Perimeter Border: Here you have the option to add perimeter borders to the net. Different options are available depending on which netting type you choose.
If you choose “Add Rope Border” we will attach 5/16" Dacron border ropes on all four sides of the net. Industrial fabrics my use smaller rope.
Industrial fabrics and some netting panels offer the option to add Webbing with grommets, webbing material is similar to car seat belts that is folder over the edge of the net and machine sewn, If you choose “Add Webbing Border with Grommets” we will add Webbing on all four sides and install grommets every 12”
Choosing perimeter borders makes the installation easier.

#12 X 1” nylon netting is prepared to custom net sizing and dimensions using the Online Netting Calculator above. This netting is prepared with diamond mesh pattern, and has the option of having a 5/16” braided polyester rope bordering installed around the perimeter edge meshes. DuPont 66-728 nylon netting features high tensile strengths, high abrasion resistance, and excellent ease-of-use. This nylon netting is well suited for longterm outdoor installations, as it is completely asphalt tar-coated for maximum UV and moisture durability.
This 1” Nylon Netting is available to be prepared with a diamond or square mesh pattern, and has the option of adding rope bordering around the perimeter edges. You can make your informed choice by reviewing our context video demonstrating the characteristics and differences of each selection.

Great protection!
We use this net to protect some large windows and our outdoor space from incoming golf balls. The net does the job and best of all it is nearly invisible. We hardly know it’s there when we look out the windows and when I mention it to my golf buddies they respond “what net?” This is our second net from Gourock and in another 8 or 10 years we may need another replacement.

I was not certain of gage thickness needs though wanted to minimize weight and went with lightest material possible given guidance. non-intrusive and durable
I live on the 17th fareway, 120 yrds to the left of tee box. At times we are in the line of fire - DARN! Anyway, Gourock to the rescue. These guys are personable on the phone, and quick to help order and ship their product to your home. The nets are very non-intrusive, yet durable. Because of the perimeter rope on the net, hanging off the eaves was easy. I have had Gourock nets since the Fall of 2016, and never had any issues. They last. I love these guys.

I live on a golf course. This is the second net I have purchased. The first net we installed had a rope edging installed and it was VERY easy to install. The website stated the rope border helped with installation. The second net we purchased we thought we'd save some money and did not get the rope edging. BIG MISTAKE! We actually couldn't install the net. However, we called the company and asked if we could send it back for the rope placement. We sent it back and had it back in one week. The net was easy to install. Believe the website.....it is easy to install with the rope edging! Thank you Gourock!

I'm on the 17th fairway, about 100 yards out on the left side. Unfortunately, My house has been hit 5 times, and I just needed to take action. I ordered a 10' by 30' net to hang off the north end of my home. It fits perfectly when hung on a 1/4" wire using quick-links. From a distance you can't even see the net. I love it. We have a ping pong table set up in our garage and needed a way to keep ping pong balls inside when our garage was open. We measured and ordered the 12 x 1" Tarred Nylon Netting with rope border. The netting, in particular with the rope border, works perfectly to cover the garage opening and keep the balls from getting out through the open garage door.
Highly recommend spending the extra $$$ to get the rope border with the netting.
The net is build well and uses high quality materials. Delivery was on time and we would definitely order form Gourock next time we need a net.

fish pond net
Just put the net on our fish pond. We are very pleased with it. In the past we have had a much lighter net that tore all the time from the ducks and geese walking on it. Would recommend this net for fish ponds.
