Mesh Type: Aesthetically Diamond Mesh looks like a succession of diamonds and Square Mesh looks like a succession of squares.Industrial Fabric is not considered square or diamond it is a sheet of fabric mostly for industrial use.
Square mesh netting will naturally hang straight and to exact dimensions without a border installed.
Diamond mesh has a lot more "stretch", and must be pulled into place for it to install into exact dimensions when it has no border installed, we recommended for installation and ease of use to have a rope-border installed around the perimeter
Net Perimeter Border: Here you have the option to add perimeter borders to the net. Different options are available depending on which netting type you choose.
If you choose “Add Rope Border” we will attach 5/16" Dacron border ropes on all four sides of the net. Industrial fabrics my use smaller rope.
Industrial fabrics and some netting panels offer the option to add Webbing with grommets, webbing material is similar to car seat belts that is folder over the edge of the net and machine sewn, If you choose “Add Webbing Border with Grommets” we will add Webbing on all four sides and install grommets every 12”
Choosing perimeter borders makes the installation easier.

#21 X 3/4” nylon netting is prepared to custom net sizing and dimensions using the Online Netting Calculator above. This netting can be prepared with a diamond mesh or square mesh pattern, and has the option of having a 5/16” braided polyester rope bordering installed around the perimeter edge meshes. DuPont 66-728 nylon netting features high tensile strengths, high abrasion resistance, and excellent ease-of-use. This nylon netting is well suited for both outdoor and indoor installations, as it is completely prepared for UV and moisture exposure.

Defensive golf nets
The nets we purchased are to protect windows, deck furniture, humans, etc. from errant golf balls being hit from a tee box about 190 yards from our home. We have used them now for 4 or 5 years and they work really well. The nets absorb all of the energy and the balls drop to the ground. Gourock has always delivered quickly with quality products. Customer service is patient , friendly, and helpful with answers to any questions we might have had. Good reliable people and products.

For Barrel Slow Feeding Haynets
Got this with the Nylon Repair Twine to make slow feeding haynets for my two horses. I made them with 55 gallon food grade barrels with the haynet sewn on at the bottom of the barrel for the horses to eat from. The barrel hangs up with the haynet 6 inches off the floor/ground with a big opening for two hay flakes to go in at the back to add hay. It was important to get something strong and UV protected to last. These two barrel slow feeding haynets I made are working great! Very healthy way to keep hay access for my horses.

This net works very well to keep golf balls in my chipping area. One problem at Gourock: they have two #21 nets, one with 1 3/4" squares and one with 3/4" squares. The first won't stop a golf ball; the second will. The Company sent the wrong one, but, when I pointed out the problem, they remedied it ASAP.

It's the best net I have owned. With that said, I've already hit the ball through it in 2 spots. I would use some sort of cotton type material as a target to extend the net life. Maybe hang that cloth with some zip ties.

Golf net stops the golf balls!
We built a frame out of 1 1/2" PVC with 1/4" eyebolts every 1' around the sides and top. Then we hooked the net using small caribineer hooks. It works perfectly. After about a week of crushing golf balls into it, there are no signs of the net weakening, either at the point of impact or connection to the frame.

Outstanding Service
I purchased this product to protect the solar voltaic panels on my roof from golf balls. It is stretched over a frame that is elevated approx. 6 in. over the panels. It should be enough to take the impact from balls off of the panels. In the process of ordering I changed what I wanted and the next morning I was contacted and was assured that my first order was cancelled and the other one would ship. It arrived on the fourth day-much sooner than expected. Time will tell how well the product holds up; I am hoping for about ten years when the roof will need to be replaced.
