Custom batting cage nets are a specialty of Gourock.com and they are built with durable DuPont® type 66 nylon baseball netting. In this first custom netting example you can see the production diagram for a pair of batting cage nets that we fabricated and shipped for a municipal sports location. These 2 baseball cage tunnels were both constructed with #36 X 1-3/4″ twisted-knotted nylon netting, and seamed together with 5/16″ braided polyester rope borders. Custom attributes in this case included unique sizing needs of 12′ high X 14′ wide X 76′ long, along with a 3′ overlapping entrance door incorporated into one of the netting end panels.
In this second example you can see a batting cage tunnel net that is very unique in sizing and contour needs. In this case the location for the netting installation was a private property site, and they preferred a lighter twine netting selection to keep the physical weight minimized as much as possible (while still maintaining proper durability and overall performance strength). Best product match in this case was the #21 X 1-3/4″ twisted-knotted nylon netting. As you can see from the included diagram, this batting cage net has a few very unique features including varying widths, a tapering angled wall, a weighted rope bottom edging, and a vertical support rope built into the side netting. Sometimes batting cage nets and ball containment nets need to be built to correspond with existing framing structures or space constraints. Custom baseball netting is a fantastic solution in such instances, including on this particular job.
And then in this third custom baseball netting example we are showing a pair of batting cage net that are constructed and supplied for a commercial sports training facility. Most organizational sports and team facilities are recommended to consider the #36 X 1-3/4″ type 66 nylon, which is a very durable baseball netting selection. In this case the batting practice nets were fabricated to the sizing of 12′ high X 12′ wide X 75′ long. All edges were seamed with 5/16″ braided polyester rope borders. In addition, our client required that 2 entrance doors be incorporated into the side corners of the nets, due to their preference to allow for convenient entrance/exit areas for both pitchers and hitters.
