Installing Cable & Hardware for Barrier Netting, Sports Nets, & Netting Panels VIDEO
Barrier nets and netting panels are often hung and suspended from wires and cables. This is a typical netting installation technique for golf barrier netting, baseball and sports stadium protective nets, soccer/basketball/volleyball barrier netting, bird nets, leaf and debris netting, warehouse rack nets, golf nets, and most any general use or multipurpose netting application.
This video is a helpful guideline provided by Gourock.com that provides a general idea of how to approach a cable installation for your netting job. Shown in this presentation is a typical cable installation, with an attached netting panel, all demonstrated on a smaller scale for reference.
Demonstrated is the the use, placement, and assembly tips for the following cabling hardware materials:
3/16″ galvanized aircraft cable
3/16″ cable clamps
3/16″ aluminum sleeves
3/8″ turnbuckles
5/16″ galvanized snap-hooks
bungee ball straps
eyebolts for steel posts and wood posts
