Oftentimes the nets that require a tapered or angled shape need to have that specific design to function correctly and fit neatly within non-square spaces. This is a fairly commonplace situation for a lot of people in all types of different environments. Some popular uses for tapered nets are installations around sloping rooflines, angled cables or wires, between railings or rafters, within non-square rooms and spaces, and other unique areas.

EXAMPLE 1:
Netting Type: #15 X 3/4″ (144 lb./tesnile) DuPont Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon
Construction Details: Square mesh pattern, 5/16″ polyester rope bordered around perimeter, 3 different netting panels that are each built to custom dimensions and with tapered/angled edges.
Purpose: This netting is installed within a framing structure that our customer constructed in the backyard of their home. The framing surrounds an area in the backyard that extends out from the house, and the purpose is to contain cats on the property. The netting was constructed to line-up with the size and slope of the framing design, making it efficient to attach the nets to their specific areas and have a professional fit.
EXAMPLE 2:
Netting Type: #21 X 3/4″ (241 lb./tesnile) DuPont Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon
Construction Details: Square mesh pattern, 5/16″ polyester rope bordered around perimeter, 10 different netting panels that are each built to custom dimensions, with 6 of them requiring tapered/angled edges.
Purpose: These nets were built to line-up with a series of wires/cables that are installed underneath a ceiling area within a commercial business. These nets are hong horizontally underneath/between the wires, with a single net per particular segment. Ceiling nets are typically used to block objects from hitting lighting/electrical/sprinkler aspects, or to keep falling objects from hitting people below.
