Heavy Duty Custom Nylon Netting for Commercial Baseball Batting Cage Facility
Over the last couple decades here at Gourock.com we have been a consistent supplier of custom batting cage nets and hitting nets for many different commercial baseball and softball training facilities. As a firm that specializes in custom nets and customized enclosure nets, we can supply netting productions that incorporate many different unique features and characteristics. This allows for our customers from baseball and softball training facilities to install batting nets and containment netting that best matches their particular spaces – resulting in the best fit, appearance, and durable function over time.
Generally speaking, at Gourock.com we always offer you direct online access and availability of custom batting cage nets that are constructed according to most any dimensions or sizes that you require. By using our convenient Online Custom Batting Cage Net Calculator you can have hitting tunnels, batting nets, and pitching tunnels easily ordered and shipped right to your location. But in addition, we also offer other custom and unique features that can be incorporated into the finished netting design – including tapers or angled shapes, portals and notches, additional rope lines, overlapping netting doors/entries, open end panels, sloping heights, and other dimensional characteristics. The netting material for the Gourock netting cage nets is the highest quality DuPontĀ® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted mesh, 100% Made in the USA, along with expert hand craftsmanship.
At commercial batting and training establishments, there are often different considerations that our netting clients need to account for while working with and installing the nets on-site. For instance, there may be different structural elements within the space such as rafters, pillars, beams, or doors that may need to be accounted for. Or in other cases there may be lighting, equipment, air ducts, or other building-related assets that also may play a part in the most functional netting design. Over the years Gourock.com has supplied many, many custom batting cage nets and hitting nets that have been fabricated with custom features for all of these factors.
To help demonstrate some of the heavy-duty professional-level batting cage nets that we have available to quote, here is an order from earlier this month for a longtime client of Gourock. This series of nets is actually a duplicate production of the same exact netting that we facilitated a few years ago – and it incorporates a series of unique characteristics that are specific to their site:
- sloped profile shape and sizing needs
- “flared-out” end area to correspond with their tapered framing
- notched end-panel construction to line-up with a fence/wall
- specific netting “cutout” zone to line-up with an existing door
- extra ceiling line ropes
- secondary double-layers of reinforcement netting built-in to both side walls
- secondary double-layer of reinforcement netting built into the flared-out ceiling
The netting in this production was the #72 X 1-3/4″ DuPontĀ® Type 66-728 Twisted-Knotted Nylon, which is a high-abrasion selection for commercial and professional batting and hitting applications. For this batting cage enclosure design, the diamond mesh pattern was utilized for the netting.
In addition to the batting cage enclosure netting, there was also an additional pitching machine protective barrier net constructed and included as well – also featuring the #72 X 1-3/4″ knotted nylon netting along with unique shape and sizing characteristics. For this protective barrier netting design, the square mesh pattern was utilized.
Production leadtime to be completed and shipped out to our customer was 3 working weeks, and the materials hit the road via LTL trucking to be delivered directly to our client’s facility location to be installed. If you have any particular custom netting inquiries or questions, feel free to get in touch with us directly at Gourock and we can assist!
Many thanks again to all of our great custom netting customers and clients – we appreciate your business very much!!
