Trellis netting and drying nets are installed in both vertical and horizontal orientations, in both indoor and outdoor locations.

There are 4 recommended netting types and sizes most generally used for commercial hemp trellis purposes, all of which are available according to your own custom sizing.

For most hemp trellis applications, the 4” square mesh size knotted nylon netting is the most fitting selection. There are two twine thicknesses sizes available, which are the #15 (144 lb./tensile) and the #30 (334 lb./tensile). The #15 X 4” square mesh knotted nylon netting is the generally recommended option, with the #30 being selected for high-abrasion or high UV exposure hemp trellis and drying operations.

For hemp netting applications that may require or prefer a smaller mesh size, the 1-3/4” square mesh size knotted nylon netting is the recommended selection. The two twine thicknesses sizes to consider in this case are the #12 (116 lb./tensile) and the #21 (241 lb./tensile). The #12 X 1-3/4” square mesh knotted nylon netting is the generally selected option for smaller mesh preferences, with the #21 being selected for higher-abrasion or higher UV exposure hemp trellis and drying operations.
