Recent Custom Sports Netting Productions
Over the last few weeks we have shipped out a series of custom batting cage net designs for some of our commercial clients. The nets for these projects were built for some municipal batting cage net installations that are being used by team organizations and schools for their batting practice needs. These following custom netting examples demonstrate some of the unique sizing and construction features that we have available for your sports netting projects, especially for organizationally-oriented athletic training facilities.
Custom Batting Cage Net Project #1
These first couple drawings demonstrate a pair of batting cage netting enclosures that have some specialized dimensions. One of the nets is an extra-wide design that incorporates a separate divider panel net. The sizing of this larger batting cage enclosure is 12′ high X 28′ wide X 70′ long – and the divider net is 12′ high X 70′ long. The intention for this net is to have the ability to either utilize the entire enclosed area for expanded practice needs, and then slide the divider panel net down the middle to break it into 2 individual tunnel lanes as well. This baseball netting design also had a couple of 3′ wide overlapping mesh entrance doors in two of the corners.
The second batting cage net in this overall job was a more typically sized 12′ high X 14′ wide X 70′ long individual tunnel, which is intended as a full-time batting practice, hitting, and pitching lane. It also incorporated a 3′ wide overlapping netting entrance door in a corner as well. Both of these custom baseball netting productions were fabricated from #36 X 1-3/4″ twisted-knotted nylon netting, black color, in a diamond mesh pattern – with 5/16″ Dacron® polyester rope borders and and ceiling lines.
Custom Baseball Netting Enclosure Project #2
This second pair of images shows another set of custom batting cage nets that were built and shipped for an additional sports netting installation at a municipal athletic location. For this particular sports facility, both of the batting cage nets were constructed with an extra-wide design, and both with a separate divider panel net as well. The first of these enclosures was 12′ high X 32′ wide X 61′ long, with a divider panel net that was 12 high X 61′ in length.
And then the second custom batting cage net for this project was a bit larger at 12′ high X 32′ wide X 76′ long – also with the divider panel netting being 12′ X 76′. Intended for a similar usage as noted in the previous example, these large volume batting practice nets allow for baseball and softball practice within the full width space – and then utilize the separate divider panel net as preferred, to divide the total enclosure into a pair of individual lanes for batting practice and pitching training. Both of these organizational hitting nets were constructed from #36 X 1-3/4″ twisted-knotted nylon netting, black color, in a diamond mesh pattern – with 5/16″ Dacron® polyester rope borders and and ceiling lines. Both also had 3′ wide overlapping netting entrance doors in 2 of the corners as well.
Many thanks again to all of our custom sports netting customers and clients! We appreciate your business very much and it is out pleasure to be your custom netting supplier!
