One of the most dependable and popular materials is the DuPont® Type 66-728 Twisted Knotted Nylon. Gourock has consistently supplied this in mesh sizes of 3/4″, 1″, and 1-3/4″ – and we have now added a larger 4″ mesh size to the available options.
Completely Made in the USA, the #15 X 4″ knotted nylon netting is a black colored material that is supplied in a square mesh pattern. It can be supplied to most any particular rectangular/square dimensions that your require, and either as bulk netting itself or with a perimeter rope bordering sewn-in (5/16″ Dacron® rope). Another great use for the #15 X 4″ netting is for the Ceiling Barrier Netting for indoor basketball/volleyball/soccer applications. It is a wider mesh opening than baseball netting (which is a 1-3/4″ mesh size) which mean less disruption of your overhead lighting, but is a great and functional mesh size to safely contain balls and objects that are 4″ in diameter and larger. It’s also a very lightweight netting option, but maintains a high tensile strength of 144 lbs./twine.
