Netting Panels With Customized Shapes

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Gourock.com routinely assists customers that need netting panels that require some customized shapes in order to function according to their needs.  For instance, if the netting is being installed within a structure/framing that has tapered edges or ‘notched’ areas, the nylon netting panels that are supplied are constructed to match the specific area that needs to be blocked.  Generally speaking, most tapers or shapes can be facilitated and supplied by Gourock – and that allows many people to accomplish a solution to their barrier netting needs with as much of a personalized fit as possible.  The most recommended approach to getting this sort of job going is to contact us and submit a general drawing/sketch of the dimensions and shape that your looking to have produced.  Also, it’s most helpful to either identify the twine/mesh needed, or alternatively what the intended application for the netting is (so that we can make a suggestion on twine/mesh for the panel).

Netting panels that have customized shapes, tapers, or notches are built with the twisted-knotted DuPont® nylon netting, and feature a Dacron® rope bordering that is woven-through the perimeter edge meshes and then sewn into place with nylon twine.  All materials and craftsmanship are 100% Made in the USA and are of the highest quality available.  On the Gourock.com site there are many examples of custom netting panels that have been supplied over the years (click here), and you can also search/browse through this company blog to view lots of other examples of customized nylon nets.

Here are three custom-shaped netting panel productions that have been facilitated, produced, and shipped over the last couple of weeks.  Each of the following diagrams show the unique dimensions and shapes that were required for each customer’s particular netting installation – and all feature the highest quality DuPont® type 66-728 nylon netting with 5/16″ Dacron® rope borders:
